Aromatherapists

Research indicates that over fifty percent of Americans today are choosing alternative & complementary therapies to enhance their healthcare & well‐being.
Aromatherapy, sometimes also referred to as aromatic or scent medicine, is the art of healing the body using naturally distilled essences from different parts of plants to improve and enhance your everyday emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being. These essences are known as essential oils.
Aromatherapists are health care specialists who use a deep understanding of the principles of aromatherapy to help their clients live healthier lives. They use the essential oils in three types of aromatherapy: cosmetic, massage, and olfactory.
Most aromatherapists are licensed in other areas of health care or body care, such as massage therapists, beauticians, chiropractors, or cosmeticians.
