    As a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) you may provide prescribed medical treatment and personal care services to ill, injured, convalescent and disabled persons in such settings as hospitals, clinics, private homes, schools, sanitariums and similar institutions. The required 1530-hour course is competency-based with a structured curriculum combined with clinical rotations in health care facilities. California State exam required for licensure, (NCLEX-PN).
    Starting Pay: $18 $22 per hour.
    Course Topics Include: Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, Psychology, Nutrition, Normal Growth and Development, Pharmacology, Diseases and Disorders, Patient Care, Procedures and Human Relations.
