The Orleans/Niagara BOCES Adult part-time Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program is open for enrollment. Eligible students may receive federal financial aid for our part-time Adult LPN program. This is an excellent option for students who are looking for a program that concentrates solely on nursing in a part time scheduling format. The 1220 hour program is rich in both theory (710 hours) and the clinical (510 hours) experiences, which prepares students for licensure and employment as a LPN. Emphasis is placed on developing nursing knowledge, skills and behaviors and applying them to real health care situations. The part-time scheduling of this program allows students access to a career in nursing while maintaining work/family responsibilities.

Admission Requirements Include:

High School Diploma or GED
Completed LPN application on file in the Nursing Education Office
Successful interview with the Head Nursing Instructor
Passing score on the LPN Entrance Exam: Exam Fee: $25.00
Successful completion of high school Biology and Math courses (Strongly recommended)
Submission of Official Transcript
